Cherie Whippy Morris earned her MSc in Marine Studies at The University of the South Pacific. She has 30 years of project management experience and vast knowledge of the Pacific fisheries context. Her expertise includes post-harvest fisheries, value chain analysis and tertiary fisheries program development. The Fiji government and non-governmental organizations previously employed Cherie. Since joining The University of the South Pacific, she has held various positions over the last 16 years, continues to develop herself professionally, and is currently involved in developing and delivering tertiary fisheries-related certificate programs for Pacific Islanders.
