I am a lecturer and researcher at the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering, Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia with expertise in watershed and engineering management, land and water conservation and water resources engineering. Presently, I serve as the Head of the Land and Water Resources Engineering Laboratory, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) and the Secretary of Indonesia Society of Agricultural Engineering for Yogyakarta Region. In 2011, I was awarded a Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) grant for performing collaboration research at Ehime University, Japan. From 2012 to 2014, I served as a field manager for some projects with the ministry of Public Works, Indonesia, such as soil and water conservation projects in critical watersheds, development of greenbelt for conservation of Watersheds, monitoring and evaluation of irrigation system performance in some Irrigation Systems, development of soil and water conservation measures in the catchment area of Merdada Lake, optimization of swamp area for paddy field and fishery cultivation in the coastal area of southern Java Island. In 2014, I was awarded a National Science Council (NSC) Taiwan research and scholarship grant for my Ph.D. program in the National Pingtung University of Science and Technology (NPUST) and completed my Ph.D. program in 2019 and received a research award from NPUST in 2020. My current activities are teaching, researching, and being a consultant and manager for several agricultural projects in Indonesia.
