Dr Chaiwat Ekkawatpanit is a Head of Water Resources Engineering Division and Assistant Professor at the Water Resources Engineering Division at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, Thailand. He obtained his PhD. from Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan and received a Hitachi Foundation Scholarship as a postdoctoral scholar at the University of Tokyo, Japan. Hydrology, water resources, water quality, flood and drought assessment, and climate change impact and adaptation in water resources are among his research interests. In the field of water resources, he worked on various national and international initiatives (Japan, Taiwan, UK).
