Awaluddin is a researcher specialising in geoscience themed spatial information systems, with a focus on climate-change adaptation and environmental resilience. He currently serves as a staff member at the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). He has been recognised as Best Employee for outstanding performance. He holds a master’s degree from the University of Indonesia. He is dedicated to independently developing information-system platforms, combining geospatial data, environmental science, and disaster-resilience principles, to enhance climate adaptation and disaster-management capabilities.
