Autumn Young

Intern, Asia-Pacific Network for Global Change Research

Ms. Autumn Young joined APN as an intern in August, 2024. She is currently working toward a degree in International Development and Planning at the University of Otago, in Dunedin NZ. Her background is in science communication, environmental education and interpretation. Before beginning her master’s degree, she spent six years working in Alaska designing educational science resources, managing social media campaigns, and coordinating science outreach programs. She is excited to apply these skills within the context of the work APN conducts, and learn more about APN’s initiatives during her time here.

In her spare time, she loves knitting (preferably by a nice warm fire), spending as much time in the outdoors as possible, gardening, and woodworking.
