Dr Aryo is researching biodiversity conservation and quantitative ecology and exploring novel methods to quantify species population dynamics using geospatial approaches. He is also interested in revealing the impacts of climate change and altered habitat on the maritime continent’s tropical biodiversity, particularly for non-human primates. Moreover, Dr Aryo is passionate about big-data analysis (e.g., satellite and global model datasets) using cloud computing and machine learning approaches.
