Ardi Andono is a conservation professional with an extensive track record in Indonesia’s Ministry of Forestry. Since August 2023, he has served as the Head of Ujung Kulon National Park. His previous leadership roles include Head of the West Sumatra Natural Resources Conservation Agency (BKSDA) and technical division heads at other national parks. He holds an MSc in Forest Nature Conservation from Wageningen University, with technical expertise in GIS and remote sensing. Andono actively contributes to scientific publications, authoring recent studies on the Javan rhinoceros and wild boar hunting.
