Dr Alia Rizki is a Senior Lecturer and Secretary of the Deunivepartment of Biology, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK), Indonesia. She obtained her B.Sc. in Biology from USK (2004), M.Sc. in Zoological Science from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) (2007), and PhD in Biology from UKM (2017). Her expertise includes entomology, insect taxonomy, biodiversity, systematics, and ecology, with research extending to environmental and ecosystem studies, including mosquito ecology, urban forest carbon stocks, heavy-metal contamination, microplastic pollution, eutrophication, and ecotoxicology. Her work contributes to biodiversity conservation and tropical ecosystem sustainability.
