Dr Albertus Sulaiman is an Indonesian scientist who serves as the Head of the Research Center for Climate and Atmosphere at the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). He is a researcher with expertise in a variety of climate and atmospheric topics, including environmental modeling, non-linear waves (especially in tropical areas), and extreme weather events. Dr. Sulaiman earned his Bachelor of Science in meteorology and his PhD in theoretical physics from the Bandung Institute of Technology. His work includes studying how small atmospheric disturbances can lead to prolonged extreme weather, and he has published numerous articles in scientific journals.
