Mr Ryan M. Basina is an ocean and coastal resource management practitioner. He holds a BS in Fisheries, major in Coastal Resource Management, from Aklan State University and has completed all academic requirements for an MS in Ocean Sciences at the University of the Philippines Visayas. His research spans marine conservation, blue carbon and coastal resilience through key international initiatives, including the Coastal Area Capability Enhancement (RIHN-Japan), BlueCARES (SATREPS/JST/JICA), EnSES (JIRCAS/Tokyo Institute of Technology/UP Diliman) and the InCORE Project (KaTRIS/UP Diliman/UP Visayas/Local Government Unit).
