Dr Haodong Xu is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the College of Marine Sciences & Maritime Studies, Texas A&M University. He specialises in microplastic pollution, oyster larvae transport and particle tracking models in the marine environment. His research focused on the quantification of plastic debris and microplastics in the ocean. He is committed to bridge the knowledge gap between scientific evidence and actionable waste management policies that regulate plastic flow in the land and further alleviate the plastic pollution in the ocean.
