Dr Suzanna Noor Azmy is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Built Environment and Surveying, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM)1. Her expertise is focused on Geographic Information System (GIS), Biodiversity GIS, and Terrestrial Laser Scanning.

Education & Research Highlights

  • PhD in Geoinformatics from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (2016-2020). Her thesis was on “Geospatial-based Data and Knowledge Driven Approaches for Burglary Crime Susceptibility Mapping in Urban Areas.”
  • MSc in Biosciences from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (2011-2013).
  • BSc in Geoinformatics Science from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (2006-2010).
  • Her research has been supported by grants such as the Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS) and the International Grant.

  • She has been a Senior Lecturer at UTM since July 2021, involved in teaching, learning, and research supervision for both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
