Agus Setyabudi is the Head of Baluran National Park. He is a highly accomplished environmental and forestry professional with over 19 years of distinguished service in Indonesia’s conservation sector, and the service is still ongoing. He earned his master’s degree in forestry from Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia, in 2013. He is keen to oversee the management and preservation of one of Indonesia’s critical ecosystems. He is also keen to demonstrate a strong blend of leadership and technical expertise, including ecosystem management, biodiversity conservation, sustainable forestry practices, and advanced planning and management.
