Bindiya Rashni

Wetlands Pasifika

Bindiya Rashni is tropical wetland ecologist with over a decade of experience in freshwater wetlands of the small island systems of the South Pacific. Her research interest is centered on Small Island freshwater ecosystem biodiversity, ethno-biomonitoring, TEK-NbS restoration model solutions and climate resilience capacity building for the indigenous riverine communities. She is the Oceania regional Coordinator for Freshwater Biodiversity Observation Network (FWBON) of the Global Earth Observation Network (GEO BON) and the founder of Wetlands Pasifika.
