Dr. Muhamad Khoiru Zaki is a lecturer and researcher specializing in soil biogeochemistry, extreme weather, tropical soil and climate, and disaster risk reduction at Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering, Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Universitas Gadjah Mada. He earned his Ph.D. in Agricultural Sciences from Gifu University, Japan, and has been actively involved in research on climate-smart agriculture, hydrological disaster mitigation, and sustainable land management. His work integrates GIS, remote sensing, and soil conservation techniques to enhance agricultural resilience. Dr. Zaki has led numerous research and development projects and published extensively in international peer-reviewed journals.
