Dr Norbu Wangdi is a leading Bhutanese expert in resource management, climate adaptation, and sustainable environmental governance with more than 15 years of
experience. He is a Resident Lecturer at the Center for Climate and Sustainable Futures, School for Field Studies- Bhutan and also leads the Forests, Water & Carbon Program at the Bhutan Ecological Society.
His work spans critical national conservation efforts, including ecosystem-based biodiversity management and strengthening community resilience to climate-driven environmental pressures. He previously served as Chief Forestry Officer. A former UNESCO-TWAS Young Affiliate and STS Forum Young Leader, he has also represented Bhutan as National Focal Point to the UN Forum on Forests.
