Associate Professor Selvaraj Kandasamy is currently affiliated with the Department of Geology at the Central University of Kerala, India. Prior to this, he worked at the College of Ocean and Earth Sciences, Xiamen University, China. With over twenty years of research and teaching experience, Associate Professor Kandasamy specializes in areas such as Sediment Geochemistry, Marine Geology/Biogeochemistry, Paleoceanography, and Paleoclimatology. His expertise particularly extends to the time window of the last 50 thousand years, including the Holocene, Deglaciation, and Last Glacial intervals. He has contributed significantly to the field, having published over 70 papers indexed in Science Citation Index. Additionally, he currently serves as an Associate Editor for Frontiers in Marine Science (section Marine Biogeochemistry) and is an editorial board member of Palaeo3.
