Mr Zaur Shukurov is currently an intern for Knowledge Management and Scientific Affairs team at the APN Secretariat, having joined in March 2023.
He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Energy Engineering from Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University in 2020. Then, he went on to pursue a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering and Management at the Tallinn University of Technology, Estonia, where he gained a deep understanding of sustainable development, life cycle assessment, waste management, environmental policy, etc.
While studying, Zaur worked as a Business Consultant at CIVITTA, a leading management consulting firm in Estonia. He has participated in various projects across a range of industries, including but not limited to energy, MedTech, education, manufacturing, and others.
Outside of work, Zaur is also actively involved in volunteer work. He has served as a team leader for environmental-related projects for more than 60 foreign students and young people through AIESEC, an international student organization.
