Mr Ngo Tuan Dzung is currently Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Department of Viet Nam’s Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. He is in charge of cooperation with multilateral international and regional partners in the fields of natural resources and environment management. His responsibilities also include international cooperation issues in transboundary water resources management and climate change. He was involved in public policymaking for national education and science and technology development when he worked at the Ministry of Planning and Investment from 1997 to 2008. Between 2008 and 2014, Mr Dzung worked in the private sector, lastly as Director-General of a medium-sized hydropower company operating in Viet Nam and Laos PDR, before joining the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.
Mr Dzung received his University’s Engineering Diploma in Brewery from the Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany and graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2000 with a Master of Philosophy in Development Studies.
