MacKenzie King

Intern, Knowledge Management and Scientific Affairs, Asia-Pacific Network for Global Change Research

MacKenzie King received her BS in biology and BBA in business management at Western Michigan University, where she was trained in electrophysiology while researching the neurological basis of behavior in the medicinal leech. MacKenzie simultaneously worked with displaced people, which exposed her to the many drivers of migration, including climate change. Working remotely as an intern to the APN Secretariat, MacKenzie lives in Thailand where she engages in conservation and sustainability education at the southern tip of the Western Forest Complex and is currently pursuing her MA in Social Innovation and Sustainability at Thammasat University in Thailand.
