| Summary of Project |
This project, involving six APN member countries, aims to develop an innovative integrated tool to accurately capture the hydro-biogeochemical processes in coastal zone systems in the context of climate change and anthropogenic forcing. The tool will be used to identify metric sound impacts assessment of the changes and examine a long-term adaptation and mitigation measure for sustainable management. The research intends to overcome the limitations of existing fragmental approaches for evaluating more complex and interrelated hydro-biogeochemical process in coastal zones . The main expected outcome of this project is the development of a multi-criteria, decision-making system that will support broad stakeholder's engagement in regional coastal zone sustainable management strategy. |
