The project is a short-term training measure in science-policy interfacing to promote the application of scientific knowledge on adaptation of forests and forest management to climate change. The training aims to strengthen the capacity of forest scientists in APN developing member countries in raising awareness of forest-related global change research among policy-makers and practitioners, thus improving forest management under changing climatic conditions. The activities include a one-week training workshop on the best practices for effectively working at the science-policy interface and active participation in a conference on “Adaptation of forests and forest management to climate change”.
