This project will organize a workshop focused on Northern Asia atmospheric composition study relating to climate change and anthropogenic load. It targets young scientists in the region and will coincide with an educational event, Computational and Information Technologies for Environmental Sciences (CITES) 2007 . A dedicated website will also be launched as an information system to support young scientists' education and training. The website will contain educational and basic thematic information on atmospheric composition and computational tools to solve particular air quality problems. It will form a powerful instrument for young scientists' training and a platform for dissemination of important environmental information to the general public and decision-makers. The expected outcomes of the project are generation and transfer of new findings and methodologies in area of atmospheric composition, air quality and climate change. It will also assist in the career development of young scientists in the region and their involvement with APN and the community of global change scientists represented at the CITES event.
